HR & Payroll administration

The HR department supports Holcim via 3 main teams: The Payroll team processes payrolls in SAP and administers employee benefits. The PA team is responsible for employee contracts, data administration in SAP, IT access and preparing reports for managers and local HR. Employee Service provides support for the employees and administers training courses.

Accounting department

B2R consists of 2 teams: The GL and Fixed Assets team processes journal entries on IFRS, Statutory and Fiscal point of view, and performs Fixed Assets activities in SAP. In cooperation with Local Operational Companies, the team supports all auditing activities in Holcim. The Management Accounting and Consolidation team manages transactional controlling and is responsible for processing, consolidation and reporting activities in SAP. The team is responsible for fulfilling Holcim Accounting and Reporting Principles and to have an overview of the business models, End to End processes. This department supports all cross-stream processes.

Customer service & Procurement

The P2P department supports Strategic Sourcing, Operational Procurement, Invoicing, Payment & Reporting and T&E administration areas. The Procurement team handles Internal and External catalogue management, SAP contracts and updates, PO monitoring activities, EDI setup and Idoc error handling. The Accounts Payable team manages invoice flow - recording and verifying, resolving discrepancies in invoices and executing payments. They are involved in end of month and closing activities, Travel and P-card management and employee enquiries. The Customer Service team is the first point of contact for internal and external client for all Accounts Payable related questions, and also for business and vendor related topics. The Master Data department is responsible for the setup and maintenance of vendor, material and service master data in the system SAP.

Invoicing department

Order to cash is a set of business processes that involve receiving and fulfilling customer requests for goods or services. The responsibilities are split between the local operating companies. The team handles the creation of master data, prices and contracts and prepares the deliveries, while the invoices, reconciliation of customer accounts, dunning and collections are handled in cooperation with the operating companies.
